Vibrams = Best Shoes Ever

So seriously, folks. I purchased the Vibrams Sprint for women in Tampa. Lovely.

These shoes are genius. They are perfect for all of the want-to-be-barefoot-all-the-time people anywhere and everywhere. Super comfy. Love them.

Vibrams + My Feet = Love

The equation is simple.

Still Writing. 9.5 Pages To Add!

So...

I'm about 10 more pages into this book.

About 27 pages in and there's already one person killed, a revenge plotted, a mysterious man with a black trunk, and a destiny to be found by my protagonist.

Will it be any good?

I hope so. We'll find out when it comes time to submit it to agents!

17 Pages To Add

So, as you all know.. I'm writing a book that I have yet to release any information about to anyone.

Brief Hint #1: Katie is hoping to be on the right track to finding her destiny.

People die. Blah blah blah.. I can't tell you anymore. All I can really add to this post is the fact that I've completed another 17 pages (First Draft)! I'm hoping to have this thing completed and ready to put into manuscript before the end of October.

Wish me luck!

Today in Etsy and Other News

Today, I logged into Google Analytics and saw that today I got 25 more page views. This is good. I've had other sites in the past do much worse. Since June 24th (the day I created my Etsy shop), I have gotten 185 page views. I guess that's not too bad for a newbie.

I still don't completely know what's going on with Etsy, or what I'm really doing. I've asked for critiques, I just hope that I'm on the right track with everything that I'm working so hard on.

I have yet to have a sale. I'm considering asking how everyone else is doing in that department. I know it's really early in the game and some people don't get sales for a long time, but is it really worth having an Etsy shop then? I don't know.. Maybe, someone will let me in on some secrets or whatever.

In the mean time.. I'm still writing my book. It's taken a new twist. Mwahahaha.. I'll post more later.

Peaces!

Visual Journaling

So, as you can probably see by the picture above, I've started my own Visual Journal. I'm hoping that this gives me a creative outlet on-the-go. I need to create my own journaling to-go kit that has a bit of everything that I could possibly need to doodle and draw my way to heaven at any given moment. It's a work in progress. And no, I didn't create the one you see above. It just happend to be my favorite image on Google of one.

I'm kind of excited about the two creative endeavors I'm working on. As you know, I've committed to writing a book. I have also committed myself to fulfilling every page in my VJ (Visual Journal). It makes me happy and keeps me calm. I just wish I had more alone time to do it in.

Like I said.. I think I need to create some sort of "VJ Kit To-Go". Let me do some research and that will be my next posting.

Thank you for your continued support.

Etsy is THE Online Art & Craft Market

Yes.. It's been long in the making, but I officially have to say that Etsy is where it's at right now. Many people have shops up there, myself included. So many people do so many cool and wonderful things on there all with their own hands. I wish I had some of their skills!!

Visit Etsy and see what people are doing. It's great stuff. I promise you that.

Committing To Writing A Book

That's right. I have committed myself to writing a book. That's apparently the right first step. Lovely! Now.. To find a story that is going to catch the attention of ANYONE.

So far, I have either the first paragraph, or the last paragraph. I can't figure out whether to start the story at the end, or start it at the beginning and work towards the end. I guess it will be a surprise if you ever choose to pick it up and read it.

Thanks again for your continued support.
